Evening entertainment
A message from Mr Jules:
Hello Everyone and Greeting Jugglers!
I'm charged with organising the Evening Entertainments at the BJC this year and I'd like to tell you some of the plans that we have. We only have a few days together to have fun together, so I'm hoping to pack in as much fun as possible. As usual at a Convention of Jugglers, the fun depends a lot on the enthusiasm and style that you bring to the event, the spirit you power it with and the ridiculous and stupid things that you just love to show the world and other Jugglers. I live to encourage such Madness, Bizarrity and plain Kookiness...
On the Thursday night and the Friday night we have arranged time for shows to happen in the Circus Top and we want you to provide yourselves as the Acts and Artists. We could use a compere too on these nights, oh, and some stage hands and a stage manager... It's not a large Circus Top ( the same one we used in Cornwall / Kernow) so the atmosphere will be intimate and friendly (just a bunch / juggle / neverthriving / whoop of Jugglers hanging out, having fun) so don't be afraid... volunteer!
Juggling Conventions of all sizes depend and thrive on 'you' participating. So many of you have great skills, ideas, short or longer routines or just some improvisation to do. We want to encourage all this creativity at BJC2008, so join in the shows and make the Convention a creative event.
