21st British Juggling Convention

Wednesday 26th - Sunday 30th March / the Dome, Doncaster

Workshops

The workshops will range across a wide range of skills from the traditional juggling, poi, and diabolo through to acro balance, aerial, stilts, cigar boxes and fire fans. We will be offering workshops at all skill levels from Beginner to Ridiculous. We also have an amazing lineup of public show performers, who are all under contract to provide us with a workshop or two.

The Balloon Modelling convention and the Kendama Championships will be bringing their own specialist and high quality workshops to your programme, and the Dome staff will be running some climbing workshops on their climbing wall.

There's a plan for a knitting and crocheting workshop / stich'n'bitch, in which we hope that yarn wranglers of all levels will be able to collaborate in the creation of a Big BJC Blanket. If you want to join in, and can bring your own acrylic yarn in dk/sport weight and some needles/hooks (any size), that will be great: if you don't have any and just fancy a go, don't worry, there will be some spare that you can use.

We're excited about getting a top class workshop list - if you'd like to put on a workshop at the BJC, please get in touch with us at workshops@bjc2008.co.uk. Let us know what you'd like your workshop to be about, and whether you think it's beginner level, intermediate or advanced.
